seed swapping

During the last few months we were very lucky to attract couchsurfers and visitors to our project who donated seeds either to plant or to be able to swap again. It is touching to meet like minded people who bring seeds with them. It always warms my heart.

With these donations we have been able to start a pumpkin patch which is now showing good growth with little growing pumpkins. The big crawly plant together with the courgettes now colours the garden with its big orangey/yellow flowers in the morning and great big greeen leaves shading the ground.

We've also received cantaloupe melon seeds in exchange for some of our very own sunflowers seeds.

We've also been able to swap our beautiful looking avocado seedlings with a chili plant and flower plants which now attract pollinators to the garden.
